1 )which 在这里是关系代词, 引导非限制性定语从句, 指前两句表达的意思。

Jack drove too fast, which was reckless. 杰克开车开得真快, 这真冒失。(which 指代前面的整个句子)

2 )put on record 列入记录;有记录

You’d better not put those nonsense words on record.

你最好别把那些废话也记下来。

The doctor ha s been putting on record all the cases he has ever met with. 这位医生一直坚持把他遇到过的病例都记录下来。

3 )count 在这里是名词, 意思是“ 计算;统计”。

The number of the students was 5 200 at the last count.

最后统计出的学生数是5 200 人。

The computer can make a quick and accurate count about the words of an article. 计算机能快速准确地统计出一篇文章的字数。

4 )辨异: accurate, correct, exact, adj.

这三个词都含有“准确的”的意思, 但表达的程度不同。

correct 正确的。指与错误(wrong)相对而言, 是这三个词中程度最弱的用词。

The thing turned out to be correct. 这事结果是正确的。

accurate 准确的。指准确无误的意思。

Is the station clock a ccura te?车站的钟准确吗?

exact 精确的。它准确无误的程序比accurate 更为强烈, 有详尽和严谨的意思。

His translation is exa ct to the letter.他的翻译准确无误。

这个词的确切意思是什么?

7.The sleepwalker is awake in the muscular area, partially asleep in the sensory area. 梦游者的肌肉是醒的, 部分感官是睡着的。

1 )awake 在这里是形容词, 意思是“ 醒着的”。以a-开头的形容词只能用作表语。

Is he awake or asleep?他是醒着的还是睡着的。

2 )area 在这里的意思是“ (身体)部位;方面”, 是名词。

3 )partially 意思是“ 部分地;不完全的”。
