The University of Colorado system
is a system of public universities in Colorado consisting of three universities in four campuses： University of Colorado Boulder， University of Colorado Colorado Springs， and University of Colorado Denver in downtown Denver and at the Anschutz Medical Campus in neighboring Aurora. On March 14， 1876， the Colorado territorial legislature passed an amendment to the state constitution that provided money for the establishment of the University of Colorado in Boulder， the Colorado School of Mines in Golden， and Colorado Agricultural College in Fort Collins， now known as Colorado State University.The University of Colorado Boulder is the flagship university of the University of Colorado System in Boulder， Colorado. It offers more than 2，500 courses in more than 150 areas of study through its nine colleges and schools. The University of Colorado Colorado Springs is the fastest growing of the three campuses. It offers 34 bachelor"s， 19 master"s， and five doctoral degree programs through its six colleges. The University of Colorado Denver is the largest research university in Colorado. CU Denver has two locations-one in downtown Denver， and the other at the Anschutz Medical Campus in Aurora. The two campuses offer more than 100 degree programs in 13 schools and colleges. The University of Colorado Executive MBA Program is built from the best of three accredited University of Colorado business schools. The program is designed for working business professionals. All classes in the three-campus University of Colorado Executive MBA Program are held at the CU Executive Education Center， located in Downtown Denver.

System： The university consisted of nine colleges and schools.While the College of Arts and Sciences is by far the largest， the university also consists of the College of Engineering and Applied Sciences， the schools of Architecture and Planning， Education， Music， Law， and the Leeds School of Business.
Beautiful main location： The University of Colorado at Boulder is located in a scenic valley at the foot of the Rocky Mountains， one mile above sea level. Boulder is among the most dynamic， progressive， and attractive cities of its size in the United States. The Colorado state capital， Denver， is a thirty-mile drive or bus ride (free for students) from Boulder. Boulder is surrounded by a greenbelt of more than 20，000 acres of open space. Much of the open space and nearby mountains are crisscrossed by an extensive system of hiking， biking， and riding trails.
