下终南山遇斛斯山人宿置酒

暮从碧山下，山月随人归。
却顾所来径，苍苍横翠微。
相携及田家，童稚开荆扉。
绿竹入幽径，青萝拂行衣。
欢言得所憩，美酒聊共挥。
长歌吟松风，曲尽河星稀。
我醉君复乐，陶然共忘机。

We went down a green mountain one evening，
Followed by the moon overhead shining.
Looking back at the path we had just passed，
We saw it crossed with verdure hazy and vast.
Hand in hand we soon came to a farm house；
A child opened the wooden gate for us.
Green bamboo upon the quiet path trespassed；
Fresh vine struck on our clothes as we walked past.
I said I was glad to stay for the night；
Then we drank good wine t’gether with delight.
A song ’bout the pine and wind was long sung
Till few stars were to the Milky Way clung.
I was drunk and you once again merry
And all worldly cares escaped our memory.
