The Kelburn campus is a community the size of a small town. Lincoln University

林肯大学

Lincoln University, located in California,s San Francisco Bay Area, in Oakland, is unique among American universities and colleges. It is approved by the state of California and the United States government, and accredited by the ACICS, but its student body is 98 percent comprised of foreign students representing 49 countries; over 85 percent of these come from the Pacific Rim.

Hence, its professors are broadly experienced in interacting, in a multicultural sense, with a wide variety of student,s from differing cultures. Every teaching day provides them with opportunities to recognize and respond to a different student,s differing needs and problems.

A Lincoln University education, therefore, tends to be personalizedpersonalize v.使成私人的, 人格化. The university is a smaller one, and so are the classes; they range from 10~25 students per class. In order to fulfill the overall objective, emphasis is placed throughout the program on the development of the individual through stress on basic disciplines and skills as well as specific subject areas. Multidisciplinary Research Center

The main goal of the Multidisciplinary Research Center at Lincoln University (MRC) is to promote and apply

multidisciplinary approachmultidisciplinary approach 综合学科研究法 to solving complex problems. MRC is focusing on fundamental and applied multidisciplinary research, multidisciplinary collaboration and education, and practical application of the research results with further knowledge and technology transfer.
