碧阑干外绣帘垂，猩色屏风画折枝。
八尺龙须方锦褥，已凉天气未寒时。

Hanging outside banisters a brocade curtain is seen；
Broken branches are splendidly drawn on the scarlet screen.
A square silk quilt is spreading upon a mat eight feet long，
Which tells us ： it is chilling but not yet of coldness strong.
